The parents of the Michigan High School shooting suspect, Ethan Crumbley, have been arrested and charged.
Jennifer and James Crumbley have pleaded not guilty after they were both charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter.
A judge set a $500,000 cash surety no 10% bond for both James and Jennifer during an arraignment via Zoom Saturday morning. The judge scheduled a probable cause conference for Dec. 15 and set a preliminary hearing for Dec. 22.
James purchased the gun his son allegedly used to kill 4 students at the High school on Tuesday.
The Crumbley’s were arrested after authorities received a tip that their car was parked outside of a Detroit building. Police found James and Jennifer in the basement of a commercial building, reported the Free Press.
Jennifer and James’ son, 15-year-old Ethan, is facing 24 charges in connection to the mass shooting on Tuesday. The charges include four counts of first-degree murder. Ethan is being charged an adult.
