People are fighting in Puerto Rico, which include Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin and more

Old San Juan, Puerto Rico- Protests have taken to the manson of Puerto Rico’s Governor Ricardo Rosselló after his text messages were leaked that included homophobia and more.

Rossello’s text messages were published by Puerto Rico’s Center for Investigative Journalism.

In the 900 pages of text messages, Rosello made fun of the dead bodies in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria, he went after singer Ricky Martin’s sexualty, texting “Ricky Martin is such a male chauvinist that he f—- men because women don’t measure up. Pure patriarchy” and more.

Ricky Martin is actually of the protestors that has been fighting in Old San Juan, along with other artists from the island like Bad Bunny, Calle 13 and more.

Lin-Manuel Miranda joined the protest here in the states, in New York City, where many gathered at Union Square to ask that Rosello steps down.

Police have shot protestors with rubber bullets that haven’t posed a threat, like a woman who was speaking and had her back them.

Many in Puerto Rico have blamed Rosello for the way Puerto Rico is being mishandled as far as it’s reconstruction, and finances after the deadly hurricane that killed thousands.
