The Philadelphia District Attorney’s says Meek Mill should get a new trail & his 2017 charges should be overturned today in court. The judge whose name is Genece Brinkley, refused to hear arguments that Meek should be released on Bail, and scheduled another hearing for Meek Mill that will take place in June. This case has caught a lot of attention after Meek Mills legal team said the Judge allegedly asked the rapper to do a remix to Boyz 2 Men’s “Bended Knee” when him & then girlfriend Nicki Minaj were having a meeting with her, in her chambers. Meek Mill reportedly laughed it off, and told the judge that that wasn’t the type of artist is, and according to Rolling Stone, after he told the judge he wouldn’t do the song, she allegedly replied “Suit yourself”. Judge sentenced Meek Mill to serve 2-4 years for violating his 10 year probation. Photo of Judge Brinkley below. Credit/CCPTV. Meek Mills photo cred: (Matt Rourke/AP
