Police Charge Suspect In Fatal Shooting Of Up & Coming Rapper YNT Juan

CONNECTICUT- Police have arrested and charged a teen with murder in the death of an up & coming rapper.

Travis Johnson, 19, was arrested on Wednesday by the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force and detectives, reports the Daily News.

Police say they charged Johnson with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

“YNT Juan”, whose real name is Garcia Bautista, was found dead on Aug. 8.

When police arrived to the scene, the rapper was found dead of a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway. Garcia Bautista died from gunshot wounds.

Johnson is being held on a $2 million bond.
