ATLANTA- Police have identified a victim who was found brutally stabbed with her dog in an Atlanta park on Wednesday.
The woman has been identified as Katherine Janness, 40.
Police say Janness was walking with her dog in the Atlanta park, which is occupied by other dog walkers and joggers.
Police received a call about a woman who had been stabbed around 1 a.m., and when they arrived, Janness was found brutally stabbed. Her dog was also found stabbed to death next to her.
Security footage shows her moments before she’s killed.
The victim’s wife became nervous when Janness didn’t return, and tracked her down by GPS., discovering both bodies.
Police are still searching for a suspect/suspects.
