NYC- Authorities have identified a woman who was killed on New Year’s Day in the first homicide of 2022.
Police have identified the victim as 41-year-old Shwesin Nyuntwai.
Nyuntwai was stabbed to death in Queens on Jan. 1. She was found with multiple stab wounds on a sidewalk. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
There have no arrests made and police say Nyuntwai’s death is the first reported homicide of 2022.
