CALIFORNIA – Police shot and killed a 15-year-old autistic teen over the weekend who allegedly charged them with a garden tool…
The deadly incident happened around 4:45 p.m. when San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department were called to the 13400 block of Iroquois Road, according to police.
His family had called police to report that the teen, identified as Ryan Gainer, was allegedly “assaulting family members and damaging property at the residence.”
When officers arrived at the home, Gainer allegedly charged at them, with a garden tool that had a sharp bladed end.
Police decided to shot Gainer after he allegedly charged at a deputy.
He was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is being investigated by SBSD Specialized Investigations Division.
