LOS ANGELES- Police are still searching for missing 6-year-old Duke Flores’s remains in a landfill, as they believe he was killed by his mother and aunt.

According to the Los Angeles Times, police went to the boys home in late April for a welfare check and were told by his mother, 29-year-old Jackee Contreras that she hadn’t seen him for 2 weeks.

Police arrested her, along with her twin sister Jennifer Contreras and charged them with murder. They believe that both women killed the boy and dumped his body into the trash.
