FLORIDA- A pregnant woman was shot and killed while waiting inside of her car, according to reports.
The deadly incident happened on November 11.
According to a press release from the Sanford Police Department, police noticed a running vehicle that was backed into a parking space at park. When they looked inside, they found 18-year-old Kaylin Fiengo dead from a gunshot wounds, reports PEOPLE.
In a statement, detectives said based on their evidence, it appears that Fiengo went to the location “with the intent to meet a person known to her.”
There is an ongoing investigation.
Fiengo was 12 weeks pregnant, and leaves behind a 1-year-old son, according to WESH-TV.
