CHICAGO- A woman is accused of killing her unborn baby’s father after an argument over a microwave, police said.
Keishia Golden, 33, was arrested on Oct. 23 and charged with first-degree murder after she reportedly admitted to police that she fatally stabbed her boyfriend, 30-year-old Calvin Sidney, according to Fox News.
Golden was eight months pregnant when she was living with Sidney.
On the morning of the 23rd, Golden and Sidney got into an argument about who was going to use the microwave to reheat their food first, police said.
Police say Golden then knocked a plate from out of Sidney’s hand, which is when he pushed her. Relatives stepped in and separated the two.
Sidney went to a room to lay down, and Golden allegedly approached him and they got into another argument, but this time Golden returned with a knife.
Golden stabbed Sidney in the thigh, and the knife went through his femoral artery.
Sidney was rushed to a hospital where he died from his injury. His cause of death was a stab to his thigh.
