ORANGE COUNTY- Singer Spectacular Blue Smith was arrested on Monday after allegedly assaulting a Walt Disney World employee.
Smith was at the resort’s Animal Kingdom on Monday when he allegedly walked past a Disney employee, pretended to sneeze and jokingly shouted “Coronavirus” according to an arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE.
The employee allegedly told Smith that his joke wasn’t funny, and he responded by saying “I thought it was”.
The affidavit says that the employee then told Smith “Then you’ll think it’s hilarious, if I asked you to step out of the line”, before putting his arm out to stop Smith from getting further in line. It was then that both men began arguing.
The employee was allegedly punched by the 35-year-old singer in his face, falling onto the ground. He told police that he thought he was unconscious.
The employee was taken to a Hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion.
Witnesses told police that they saw Smith punching the employee.
Smith was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery, and his bond was set at $500.
Spectacular Blue Smith is known for being part of the R&B Pretty Ricky, who had hits like “Grind With Me” and “Your Body”.
