Music producer, reality star Mally Mall was sentenced to 33 years in prison Thursday for running a prostitution ring over 12 years.
Mally Mall, whose real name is Jamal Rashid, “operated a high-end prostitution business that transported victims across the United States,” using websites “to advertise the victims for prostitution purposes,” from 2002 to 2014, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada in a statement, reports People.
According to prosecutors, Mally Mall “exploited hundreds of victims “, and encouraged the girls to get his name tatted on them.
Mally reportedly told the judge “I truly apologize to the court, the government and, most importantly, the women involved”, reports People.
The 45-year-old has worked with artists such as Usher, Justin Bieber and more.
He also appeared on ‘Love & Hip Hop’.
