GEORGIA- Rapper Quando Rondo crashed his car on Wednesday and prosecutors want him back behind bars after he was released on bond pending his trial for gang and drug charges.
Quando Rondo, whose real name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman, crashed his car while speeding on Wednesday. First responders “administered Narcan as he was exhibiting signs of an overdose,” according to CBS News.
Narcan is used to treat opioid overdoses.
Rondo was indicted last month on gun and drug charges. He was released from jail on June 26 on a $100,000 bond.
Prosecutors are now asking a judge to revoke his bond.
A judge has scheduled a hearing for Thursday on the rapper’s bond. Prosecutors also obtained a subpoena for toxicology tests and other medical records from the hospital that treated him after the crash.
