Migos member Quavo won for “Songwriter of the year” for “Bad and Boujee,” Migos ft. Lil Uzi Vert; “Good Drink”, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane and Quavo at the 2018 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards, which was held Thursday night at the W Hotel in Beverly Hills. The Migos also took home the ASCAP Vanguard Award. Both Quavo and Gucci Mane tied in for this award. Other winners of the night included:
Kendrick Lamar & Mike Will Make-It won for ASCAP Top Rap Song for “Humble.”
The Top R&B/Hip-Hop Song was Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” written by a team including ASCAP members Christopher “Brody” Brown, James Fauntleroy and Jeremy “Jerm Beats” Reeves and Ray “Ra Charm” McCullough of The Stereotypes
Xscape won the 2018 ASCAP “Golden Note Award”
PNB Rock won Ascap Urban Award for “Everyday We Lit”
