R. Kelly accuser’s former attorney is sentenced; here’s why

New York- An attorney who once represented one of R. Kelly’s accuser’s has been sentenced for lying to the FEDS.

According to The New York Post, 38-year-old Lydia Hills, who also goes by the name Lydia Agu, was sentenced to four years of probation on Friday for lying to federal prosecutors to help her aunt, who’s an ex-con , in order to keep real estate-sale proceeds that were supposed to go the government.

Hills was charged in April 2016 for lying to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan in order for her to help her aunt sell 11 of her properties that she owned in Queens and keep the money that was supposed to go to the government.

Hills aunt served 70 months in prison for fraud.

Hills is known for representing Faith Rodgers, who is suing singer R.Kelly in Manhattan supreme court for allegedly sexually assaulting her after a 2017 concert when she was 19-years-old.

Rodger’s was represented by Hills up until March.
