SAN FRANCISCO- Rapper A.B. Milli was indicted Thursday on charges of being a felon in possession of a loaded semiautomatic firearm.
Prosecutors said the rapper, whose real name is Albert Collins, “would pose a danger to the community if released”, reports East Bay Times.
A.B. was arrested by police Nov. 2, after officers identified him as a parolee with a warrantless search and pulled over the BMW he was driving. He allegedly ran from police, who caught up to him and arrested him.
According to a criminal complaint, the 27-year-old rapper told police “Ya’ll got me” and “the gun’s in the garbage can.” A police officer found a pistol under a parked Audi, and a gun was found hidden inside the pant leg of his jeans.
