UK- Rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was arrested just a few hours before he was set to perform at the Wireless Music Festival on Saturday.
The Bronx rapper, whose real name is Julius Dubose, was due to perform at the London music festival on Saturday afternoon.
According to Boogie, who took to his social media to apologize to his fans, says his arrest was due to something that happened over 2 years ago.
He wrote “Smh sorry to everyone who came out to see me at Wireless.” London police locked me up before I went on stage for something I was accused of 2 years ago,” adding “I’m OK and I’ll try my best to make it up to you guys.”
Festival organizers posted a message that announced Boogie wouldn’t be performing and they were planning on re-scheduling his performance.
