Rapper Acquitted For Double Murders Arrested For Ex’s Murder Days After

TAMPA, FLORIDA- A rapper who was acquitted of a double-murder, has now been charged with murder in the death of his child’s mother and ex-girlfriend, police said.

Billy Adams was acquitted by a jury of killing two men in a recording studio on January 27 and was able to go home.

Just three days later, a young pregnant mother, who was having her second child, was found shot to death, alongside her toddler who was in the vehicle nearby.

A week after Alana Sims was killed, police said Adams allegedly admitted to shooting and killing her, according to Fox 13.

Sims, 22, thought she going to a party to celebrate Adam’s acquittal of the double-murder, police said.

They believe that Adams may have killed Sims because he didn’t want to be with, or father his unborn child that she was going to have.

Sims’ body was found by a neighbor who was walking by. Police initially said the shooting was “targeted.” Her 18-month-old son was found unharmed still inside of the car, feet from where her body was, according to local reports.

The toddler is now in the care of Sims’ family.

Alana was five months pregnant and was going to turn 23 on February 13.
