SOUTH AFRICA- Rapper AKA was reportedly fatally shot during a drive-by on Friday night before he was set to perform.
The rapper’s bodyguard was also wounded, and an unidentified person, who was a close friend of AKA, was also shot dead, according to iol.co.za.
AKA was standing outside of the Wish Restaurant when he was shot and killed in a drive-by.
Patrons from inside of the restaurant told police they saw him outside right before the shooting.
According to social media, AKA was set to perform at a Durban club, called YUGO, where he was also going to perform as of part of his birthday celebrations.
His friends have begun sending their condolences to the South African rapper.
