Rapper allegedly shot to death by members of rival rap group

LOUISIANA- Two men have been arrested in connection to the death of a up & coming 19-year-old rapper.

Michael Brock, a member of the rap group “Three 13”, was hiding out at his girlfriend’s relatives home after allegedly receiving death threats.

Witnesses say that there was a knock on the door  early June 7. Brock went to answer the door, and was shot by a male with an AR-15. Those who were inside of the home were unharmed, reports WWLTV.

The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle driven by someone else.

Police say the alleged shooter has been identified as 19-year-old Tauj Chardez Taplin.

19-year-old Quardavion Tyvon White, has been identified as the driver on the night of the shooting.

White and Taplin are part of the rap group “The Fours”.

Police arrested both suspects during a traffic stop, after noticing the description of the vehicle fit the one at the crime scene. Police say a struggle broke out, and Taplin was able to flee.

White was taken into custody, and Taplin was later arrested.

Both are facing charges for the death of Brock, and charges for leading police on a pursuit.
