FULTON COUNTY, Atlanta- According to the Fulton County’s Deputy’s office, Kevin McCall was arrested after he refused to stop filming in court, as he was on Instagram Live. Recording in courthouses is not allowed.
When the Sheriif’s deputy asked McCall to stop, he continued to record his argument with the deputy, and even used profanity and “abuse language” according to an email sent by Fulton County spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan to AJC.
McCall then stepped outside of the courtroom, still recording, and you could hear the deputy telling him “you can’t record in this building.” Flanagan says he also threatened the deputy and continued using profanity.
The deputy put his hands up to McCall to signal him to stop recording, and that’s when McCall hit the deputy’s hands. A few minutes later the argument escalated to where McCall fell down an escalator as he was allegedly fighting with the deputy. The deputy and another officer were seen by paramedics but were sent off.
McCall was in family court because he had filed for joint custody of his daughter with Sterling.
McCall is facing felony send-degree criminal damage to property, terroristic threats, misdemeanor charges of obstruction, disorderly conduct and simple assault. According to AJC, he was booked on a $9,500 bond.
McCall is also the ex-boyfriend of ‘Housewives Of Atlanta’ Eva Marcille Sterling. They share a daughter together.
McCall is known for his collab with singer Chris Brown on the song “Deuces.”
