Rapper Blueface Sentenced To 4 Years After Probation Violation

LAS VEGAS – Rapper Blueface was sentenced to 4 years in prison after a probation violation.

Blueface whose real name is Johnathan Porter was arrested on January 12 for violating his probation in relation to an alleged attack on a bouncer in 2021.

A judge is giving him credit for time served, which means he needs to serve more 10 months before he’s released.

His father broke down in tears afterwards on Instagram upon leaving court after the sentencing.

The rapper’s mother, Karlissa Harvey, confirmed his sentencing in a video on social media, thanking fans for their prayers as she had asked of them.

“I seen all the prayers and I think ya’ll so much,’ she wrote, “I don’t want y’all to think that God didn’t show up today, he did and if you was in the courtroom, you heard Jonathan take accountability, you heard Jonathan sound like Johnathan, he’s in his right frame of mind. We didn’t get the verdict that we wanted today, but we got some closure and new beginnings.”

The “Thotiana” rapper, along with two other men, were arrested after an alleged beating on a bouncer at a club in California in November 2021. Footage from the club shows the three men kicking, stomping, and punching the bouncer. All of the men were charged with felony assault. Additionally, one of the men is accused of stealing the victim’s chain, which led to him being hit with an additional felony robbery charge, TMZ reported.
