Rapper Casanova arrested for jumping a woman at a restaurant with his entourage!

I wrote the story several days ago about Brooklyn’s own “Set Trippin” Casanova allegedly involved in beating a woman with his entourage at a restaurant, well he has now been arrested for it.

Casanova, whose real name is Caswell Senior, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with robbery, 3 days after he & his entourage were accused of beating a woman at a midtown restaurant at around 5 a.m. According to the The Daily News, detectives arrested the rapper after an interview that was brokered by his attorney.

According to authorities Casanova was at the restaurant with a male and female when the victim was attacked. The rapper and his friends began to yell at the victim, whose name is Niya Rucker. when they thought that she was recording them for Instagram Live. The victim says she was recording her food after being served.

Authorities say after Casanova and his entourage yelled at the victim, they took her phone and one suspect put her into a headlock until she was unconscious and then throw her body on the floor.

The two suspect’s then punched the victim repeatedly in her face causing her to have cuts, a bloody face and a swollen lip. After beating the victim, they then took her phone and exited the restaurant but they were caught on the restaurant’s video surveillance. Police are now looking for the female & male who were seen on video surveillance.

Casanova’s legal released a statement to PIX11 saying:

“Casanova adamantly denies the allegation that he assaulted anyone. Any contention he did so is totally false,” his attorney said. “We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into these false allegations.”

The victim told PIX11 that Casanova and/or his friends begged her not to press charges.

Casanova has denied these accusations via his Instagram.
