Rapper Casanova Slashed In The Face Days After Denouncing Himself From Gang Affliations

NEW JERSEY- Rapper Casanova2x was viciously attacked days after denouncing himself from the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation”, a fraction of the Blood gang.

The bloody attack happened on Thursday at the Essex County Correction Facility in Newark, New Jersey.

Casanova, whose legal name is Caswell Senior, was reportedly slashed several times in his face by another inmate identified as Ulysses Lugo, according to NBC 4.

Casanova reportedly chased Lugo down with several other men, jumping him. The rapper also slashed Lugo several times.

“Inmate Senior was sitting there, and blood was just coming out of his face,” an unidentified corrections officer told NBC. The officer also told the news station that Lugo lost a lot of blood due to his injuries.

The unit was allegedly not appropriately searched leading up to the attack.

The bloody attacks took place just days after the Brooklyn rapper, 36, wrote a heartfelt letter to a judge, claiming he wanted out of the gang before he was arrested.

Casanova maintained that he is no longer involved with the Bloods.

He said he felt he needed to be gang affiliated in order to further his rap career, but he knows the Gorilla Stone Group won’t help him succeed.

“I was not involved in the daily activities of this gang. I wasn’t anyone’s boss,” he wrote.

The “Don’t Run” rapper is set to be sentenced on June 27th after pleading guilty to multiple racketeering and drug offenses.

He faces up to 60 years in prison.
