Rapper Coolio has died at the age of 59.
The rapper’s manager Jarel Posey confirmed the news to Variety, saying the rapper died around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
He was found dead at a friend’s house, reports TMZ.
Coolio, was known for his hit song “Gangsta’s Paradise” for the 1995 film ‘Dangerous Minds’ starring Michelle Pfeiffer.
The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks and became the No. 1 single of 1995 and the No. 1 single of that year in the country.
