QUEENS, NYC- Rapper Dave East was arrested after a traffic stop early Friday morning in Queensbridge projects.
31-year-old Dave East, whose real name is David Brewster, was in an SUV with a few of his friends, when according to police, the driver failed to signal a turn.
Police say that the driver cooperated with them, but that Dave East allegedly became combative, along with another passenger after they were asked to show their ID’s.
Police allegedly then found over half a dozen bags of Marijuana inside of the SUV.
Dave East was cited for criminal possession of Marijuana and disorderly conduct.
