Drake was to appear via virtual deposition on Friday, but defense attorneys said he refused to be served with a subpoena, according to Broward County court records.
The Canadian rapper was among several rappers who were listed as potential defense witnesses in the fatal shooting of XXXTentacion, who was shot and killed on June 18, 2018.
Michael Boatwright, 28, is accused of shooting XXXTentacion, and his friend Trayvon Newsome, 24, is accused of being the gunman and Williams, 26, is the driver.
