Rapper Drakeo The Ruler’s Brother Sues Concert Promoters After Rapper’s Death

Rapper Drakeo The Ruler’s brother is suing those behind the ‘Once Upon A Time’ music festival over his brother’s death.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Drakeo’s brother claims his brother’s life was in jeopardy the minute he stepped foot on the grounds of the festival and says it was due to lack of security at the festival.

The rapper’s brother claims that Drakeo was fatally stabbed within minutes of arriving and his brutal attack lasted about 15 minutes.

Court docs state that his brother says the all-access area, where his brother was attacked, should’ve been a safe place. He blames the promoters, claiming there were “lackadaisical to totally absent” security measures.

Drakeo had the target of gang threats at the time of his scheduled performance, and his brother says the festival didn’t prepare for the worse.

Drakeo entered the festival after going through two checkpoints, but his brother claims they weren’t secure. One booth allegedly had 2 unarmed employees who let anyone in that had an all-access pass and the other checkpoint had a metal detector, a drug-sniffing dog and a small group of guards but claims not every car was searched, reports TMZ.

Drakeo’s brother claims in court docs that the rapper was attacked by a mob of 50 to 100 people with knives, which left him and his small crew defenseless.

Drakeo was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead.

The rapper’s brother and others are suing, Snoop Dogg’s LLC, Live Nation and the Los Angeles Football Club.
