Rapper Earl Swavey has died at the age of 26.
His death was confirmed by Pithfork, but the cause is unknown.
Despite growing up in Los Angeles, Swavey’s track “Beef” from one of his first releases “Business Before Pleasure” reached A$AP Yams ear.
Swavey spoke of his friendship with A$AP Yams during an interview with Grungecake in 2015.
“Out of all the members of A$AP, Yams was really like a brother to me.” He added “He would send me Christmas gifts and always look out for my mom and ask if she needed anything. I could call him anytime and he would always answer, no matter what. I definitely gained some wisdom from him.”
Swavey dropped three projects in 2021: The Dirtiest, Unphuckwithable and Gangland 4.
