Rapper Fetty Luciano Indicted In Long Island Mansion Shooting

LONG ISLAND- Rapper Fetty Luciano was arraigned on a nine-count indictment for his alleged role in a shooting at a Long Island mansion Friday.

The rapper was in court Friday, now facing his downgraded charges, according to NBC NEWS.

Fetty Luciano, whose real name is Remy Marshall, was initially charged with attempted murder and along with multiple other charges in the July 10 shooting.

Prosecutors said they didn’t have the evidence to move forward on the attempted murder charge against the rapper, but they did charge Fetty with three counts of second-degree assault and one count each of criminal possession of a weapon, attempted second-degree assault, which are all felonies and misdemeanor charges reckless endangerment and misdemeanor assault, which are misdemeanor charges, NBC News reported.

Luciano is facing up to 15 years in prison if he’s convicted of the top charge in the indictment. He’s set to be back in court by the end of this month, according to the news station.

The shooting happened on July 10, 2022 at a party for music executive Big Fendi at The Mansion at Glen Cove in Long Island. A security guard was injured, but no one suffered life-threatening injuries.
