Rapper Fetty Wap Allegedly Ran Opioid Ring With 5 Other Men

Rapper Fetty Wap is accused of running an Opioid ring out of Long Island with five other men, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District, reports Page Six.

The rapper, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, was arrested by FBI agents Thursday at Citi Field on a two-count federal indictment, as I wrote before.

Fetty, along with 5 others, are accused of allegedly trafficking more 100 kilos of opioids, and fentanyl, from the west coast to Long Island, authorities say.

The drug ring was allegedly based out of Suffolk County and was a multimillion-dollar operation, according to law enforcement, reports Page Six.

The other five men, including the rapper’s brother, Robert Leonardi, and Anthony Cyntje, a New Jersey Corrections officer, were also indicted on firearms charges.

Fetty pleaded not guilty to all charges against him on Friday in court.

He was scheduled to perform at the Rolling Loud music festival in NYC, but was arrested before his set.
