LAS VEGAS- Rapper Fetty Wap has pleaded not guilty to battery charges.
The New Jersey rapper pleaded not guilty on Thursday according to public records.
Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, was charged with one misdemeanor count of battery for allegedly punching a security guard at a Las Vegas Hotel back in Sept.
He was arrested on Sept 1st, but was released the same day.
According to the security guard, he received a call to “break up a fight” that was going down in the valet area around 6:10 a.m.. He then adds that when he arrived, Maxwell punched him three times in his face.
His bench trial is set to begin on Dec 16th.
