Rapper French Montana Honored For Humanity Work, Raised More Than $226 Million For Africa

Rapper French Montana was honored Thursday for his humanitarian work in Africa, where he was born.

The Bronx rapper was honored at the 2022 Pencils of Promise Gala for helping to raise more than $226 million towards healthcare in Africa, according to TMZ.

He’s funded the Budondo Suubi “Hope” Health Center in Uganda. A source of healthcare for new mothers and their babies.

French was given the Innovator Award.

French told TMZ that he was honored by the award, thanking Global Citizen and Mama Hope.
