SOUTH FLORIDA- Rapper Gunplay was arrested for allegedly pointing a rifle at his wife as she held their baby, police said.
Gunplay, whose real name is Richard Morales, was intoxicated after returning home Sunday night and began arguing with his wife as he was playing on his Xbox, according to an arrest report, CBS News Miami reports.
The rapper’s wife told police that she told the rapper to keep the noise down because their six-month-old baby was sleeping.
Gunplay reportedly became upset and picked up an AK-47, pointed it at her and then pressed it against her chest, allegedly saying ” I will blow your (expletive) out,” the outlet reports.
His wife told police that she was holding their baby and asked him to leave the apartment, but he refused.
Gunplay is accused of then attempting to take their baby from her by allegedly grabbing the child by the head and neck. She said she shouted for help, and he ran out in the hallway doing the same.
She eventually called 911.
Gunplay has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, child abuse and false imprisonment.
