Rapper HoneyKomb Brazy Attends Parole Revocation Hearing

ALABAMA – Rapper HoneyKomb Brazy made an appearance Friday before an Albama Board of Pardons and Paroles hearing officer to proceed with the revoke of an early prison release based on new charges.

A decision was not made at the hearing, according to his defense attorney, WALA reports.

The rapper is facing a preliminary hearing in federal court on a recent charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

HoneyKomb Brazy, whose real name is Nashan Jones, was arrested during a traffic stop on Dec. 18. Jones, 28, is accused along with two others of riding in a vehicle with guns and drugs.

Prosecutors will have to present evidence for probable cause for a grand jury. They are seeking to keep Jones behind bars.
