Rapper ‘Hotboy Wes’ Arrested On Robbery Warrant

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Rapper Hotboy Wes was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force on Monday.

Hotboy, whose real name is Wesley Takquan was arrested on a robbery warrant.

He was listed on the McLennan County Jail log on Monday night with two additional charges from the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of a firearm.

According to authorities, Lewis was stopped while in a vehicle at 9th and Colcord in Waco when he was arrested and taken into custody.

Police say they recovered a stolen gun from the vehicle and three other suspects were also arrested.

Hotboy Wes is signed to rapper Gucci Mane’s record label 1017 records.
