Rapper Hurricane Chris Found Not Guilty Of Second Degree Murder

Rapper Hurricane Chris was acquitted of second-degree murder on Tuesday, according to the Shreveport Times.

The rapper, whose real name is Christopher Jerron Dooley, was indicted by a Grand Jury in Oct. 2020, in connection to the death of Daneria Farris Jr., 32.

Farris was found dead from several gunshot wounds at a Texaco gas station.

The rapper was also charged with illegal possession of a stolen 2016 Mercedes sedan in connection with the murder.

The trial began in March.

The jury declared Dooley not guilty on all counts.
