Rapper Julio Foolio Gets Probation, Accepts Plea Deal In Traffic Case

JACKSONVILLE- Rapper Julio Foolio accepted a plea deal Wednesday and received probation.

The Jacksonville rapper pleaded guilty to charges of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, in exchange for six months of probation, which he will serve at a confidential location in Georgia, reports WTLV-TV.

Foolio was ordered not to contact six of his former associates.

The rapper, whose real name is Charles Jones, was pulled over April 5 for having illegal tinted windows.

He was charged with fleeing and eluding. The traffic charges were dropped as part of his plea deal.

He will not be able to travel for performances, according to WTLV-TV.

His trial on the charges for fleeing and eluding, as well as tampering with evidence charge was to begin Monday.

If found guilty, he could face up to three years of probation.
