LOS ANGELES – Rapper Killer Mike was detained at The Grammys, according to reports.
The Atlanta rapper, whose real name is Michael Render, was escorted out of the award ceremony in handcuffs after winning Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Scientists and Engineers.”
Video on social media shows the rapper being led away by police hours after winning.
The 66th Grammys is being held in Los Angeles at the Crypo.com Arena.
It’s unclear why he was taken away.
