Rapper Kodak Black Arrested In Florida For Cocaine Possession And More Charges

FLORIDA – Rapper Kodak Black is facing charges of cocaine possession and evidence tampering after he was arrested Thursday, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was being detained Thursday in Plantation, Florida, while waiting to see a judge.

The troubled rapper was accused of trafficking oxycodone in July 2022 in Fort Lauderdale. He was carrying almost $75,000 in cash. A warrant for his arrest was issued for the 26-year-old in June after he missed a drug test, which was mandatory under the conditions of his release on bail.

He also missed another drug test on Feb. 3 and reportedly tested positive for fentanyl less than a week later.
