Rapper Kodak Black Arrested On Drug Charges

SOUTH FLORIDA- Rapper Kodak Black was arrested on trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance charges.

The rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was booked Friday into jail in Fort Lauderdale, where he’s reportedly waiting a bond hearing.

Kodak was pulled over by troopers because he was driving a purple SUV with tinted windows that appeared to be darker than the legal limit, Florida Highway Patrol said in a release.

Authorities say troopers smelled marijuana coming from the rapper’s SUV and conducted a search. They allegedly found a small clear bag with 31 oxycodone pills and almost $75,000 in cash.

His vehicle tag and driver’s license were also expired.

Former president Trump commuted a three-year federal prison sentence Kodak had for falsifying documents used to buy weapons.
