Rapper Kodak Black pleads not guilty to charges; why he won’t be free for too long

What a week it’s been for rappers, especially Kodak Black.

The rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri was arrested right before he was heading on stage at the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami, Florida.

Kodak pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in court to weapons charges.

He was released on a $550,000 bond with house arrest.

For the weapons case, an indictment says that Kodak falsified federal forms in order to buy weapons at a Florida gun shop twice. One of those 3 guns, which is a semi automatic Mini Draco weapon was left behind on the scene of a recent shooting in Florida. Yikes.

His $600,000 house has been put up for collateral.

Let’s be honest here, I think it’s very obvious that Kodak Black will not be free for much longer. He’s was out on bail when he was arrested at Rolling Loud for allegedly trying to cross the Niagara Falls/Canada with drugs and weapons.

On top of that, he still may serve time either way, this would be for his sexual allegations case in South Carolina.

There have been two fatal shootings since the Rolling Loud music festival has  began.
