Rapper Kodak Black Released On $75K Bond After Arrest Over Oxycodone Pills

FLORIDA- Rapper Kodak Black was released from jail Saturday on a $75,000 bond after he was arrested for allegedly possessing Oxycodone pills.

The rapper, whose real name is Bill Kahan Kapri was seen leaving Broward County Jail in a video that was posted by NBC 6 South Florida.

Kodak’s lawyer told Rolling Stone the bond was negotiated at a hearing on Saturday morning.

Police pulled the rapper over for having dark tinted windows which was darker than the legal limit. Officers said they smelled marijuana coming from Kodak’s SUV, and upon a search, 31 oxy pills and $74,960 in cash were found in the vehicle.

Kodak’s license and permit were also expired.
