Rapper La4ss Pleads Not Guilty To Gun And Fentanyl Charges

ST. LOUIS- Rapper La4ss pleaded not guilty to gun and fentanyl charges on Wednesday, according to a report.

The St. Louis rapper, whose real name is Antonio Harris, allegedly fled from police on Feb. 16 as he was driving a Toyota Corolla, court documents state, reports SLToday.

Police say they used spike strips on the car’s tires, but he kept driving, eventually crashing in a median near Spring Valley Drive, court documents said.

Harriss, 25, is accused of getting out of the vehicle, running and allegedly throwing down a cross-body bag that contained almost 400 capsules of fentanyl and six grams of raw fentanyl, prosecutors said, according to the news outlet.

Police say they also found a Glock pistol in the floorboards of the vehicle he was driving, police said.

Harris was convicted in June on charges of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and carrying a gun while committing a drug trafficking crime.

He was previously convicted of stealing a motor vehicle, receiving a gun while under indictment and resisting arrest.
