CHICAGO- Rapper Lil Durk and the United Center are now facing lawsuits after a concert turned into chaos over a false report of an active shooter.
The lawsuits have been filed on behalf of a minor and his aunt, according to FOX13.
The suits allege that the Chicago rapper and the venue are responsible for a stampede that resulted in the minor suffering injuries, the outlet reports.
The chaos erupted during the WGCI Summer Jam, that included NY Drill rapper DD Osama and FendiDa Rapper. The concert came to a halt after police received a false report of an active shooter and a stabbing that allegedly involved a 20-year-old woman who was stabbed outside of the United Center.
The lawsuits are seeking monetary damages for injuries that were sustained during the chaotic concert.
Lil Durk hasn’t spoke on the incident, but the United Center did, saying the incident is under investigation.
