MILWAUKEE – Rapper Lil Frank has been charged in a hit-and-run that killed a pregnant woman and her unborn child.
Lil Frank, whose real name is Frank Mosley, was charged by prosecutors with three felonies, including first-degree homicide, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The 20-year-old, who’s accused of fleeing a traffic stop, running a red light and colliding with another vehicle which killed the pregnant woman, made his first court appearance on Tuesday and remains in custody, according to jail records.
According to an arrest report, on Nov. 2, police attempted to pull over Mosley for allegedly driving a BMW with a missing license plate when he allegedly fled, per the outlet.
Police had to stop the chase with Mosley for safety reasons before they came upon the deadly crash scene.
Mosley allegedly jumped out of the car and fled on foot when the accident occurred.
The victim was pronounced dead at the dead.
The BMW was reported stolen on Oct. 27, police said.
Mosley was tracked down at his home, where officers found burnt clothing in a grill, paperwork belonging to the stolen BMW and keys to the vehicle.
