Rapper Lil Keed’s Cause Of Death Revealed 7 Months After He Died

Rapper Lil Keed’s cause of death has been revealed 7 months after his death.

The Atlanta rapper, whose real name is Raqhid Jevon Render, suddenly died in his Los Angeles home in May 2022. He was 24.

According to an autopsy report, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner ruled that Keed died of natural causes due to eosinophilia, but it’s unclear what caused the condition.

The report states that Render had to be taken to a hospital around 7:30 p.m. on May 13 in L.A.

“He had been sick in bed for four days with complaints of stomach and back pains, ” the report said. “His brother noted that the decedent’s eyes were jaundiced and drove him to the hospital in a private vehicle.”

Keed then suffered a seizure “before going unresponsive.” He later died at the hospital at 10:14 p.m. that day.

The coroner said Keed was also in a Georgia hospital last year after suffering stomach pains but left “against medical advice and did not seek follow-up care,” PEOPLE reports.

Eosinophilia happens when your body produces an unusually high number of eosinophils, which are one of several white blood cells several white cells that support your immune system.

They are part of the body’s defense system, helping protect the body from parasite and fungal infections and helping with allergens.

Underlying health conditions and certain medications can cause high eosinophil count.

Keed’ family say the rapper didn’t take drugs.

The “Pull Up” rapper was signed to Young Thug’s record label Young Slime Life, also known as YSL.

His brother Lil Got It is also a rapper.
