PENNSYLVANIA- Rapper Lil Uzi Vert was mistaken for a thief who stole a puppy from a pet store.
A bulletin published by the Wilkes-Barre-Township Police Department on Thursday shows the Philly rapper as a suspect.
The bulletin read: “Stolen ruby-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, from Brookside Pups on Kidder St. last seen going on the turnpike believed to be heading to Philadelphia.”
“The license plate for the vehicle does not belong on the vehicle and is believed to be stolen. Any sightings of this vehicle, dog or individual is asked to call 911,” the statement read.
After people began to notice it was the rapper, police realized the mistake and made an update.
