Rapper Lil Zay Osama Released From Jail After Allegedly Leaving Loaded Gun In Uber

NYC- Rapper Lil Zay Osama was released from jail Friday after he was arrested for allegedly leaving a loaded gun in an Uber last month.

As I wrote before, the Chicago rapper, who was in NYC to record music, was arrested on Sept. 29 after leaving a loaded Glock 22 .40 caliber pistol with a switch inside of an Uber.

The driver called police after finding the gun, and police arrested the 24-year-old, who had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

He was charged with possession of a machine gun and felony possession of a firearm.

The rapper was initially being held without bail. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
