ATLANTA- Rapper Lil Durk will not be facing charges in connection to a 2019 shooting.
The rapper, whose real name is Derrick Banks, was charged in connection to a shooting outside of The Varsity days after the Super Bowl in 2019, reports WSBTV.
Durk was forced to cancel his tour, flying out to Atlanta after finding out a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He was initially charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony, unlawful for employed by associated with criminal street gang to conduct/participate in crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
